Ten wells to be launched at Bibi-Eybat field later this year
23 August 2008 - Day.Az - According to the press service for the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, currently, the operation fund of the Bibi-Eybatneft oil and gas producing department makes 785 wells. Of them 630 are operating. In January-July of this year 14 idle wells were launched into operation. 70,228 tons of oil were produced instead of the predicted 66,950 tons. The average daily production at the field makes 291 tons of oil. 7 wells have been launched through this period. 3 wells are currently being drilled.
