Oil transportation by Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline fully stopped
07 August 2008 - Today.Az - Oil transportation by Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline has been fully stopped due to the fire, which occurred in Turkey, reports Day.Az with reference to ANS TV. According to a source from BP-Azerbaijan, oil export started by alternative routes instead. It included Baku-Supsa and Baku-Novorossiysk pipelines as well as railway transportations. Additional variants for storing of extracted oil are being checked at the moment. It is unclear when the pipeline will be repaired.
